A pattern is a structure or relationship that emerges through recognition by a node. In Node Theory, patterns exist only through their recognition and processing by nodes, forming the basis for meaning through their relationships with other patterns and their processing by node networks.
Overview
Patterns are inseparable from the nodes that recognize them. For example, the color red emerges as a pattern through the human visual system's ability to process certain electromagnetic waves in consistent ways. The meaning of patterns emerges from their relationships with other patterns within a node's recognition and processing capabilities. When patterns form stable relationships that can be consistently recognized and processed by nodes, they become the foundation for language systems.
Pattern Recognition
